Тонны металла, более 1 млн метров кабелей — что внутри стартового комплекса ракеты «Ангара-А5»

All tasks of the complex have already been worked out on the ground liquid model of the Angara-NZh rocket

The Russian heavy launch vehicle Angara-A5 is ready to launch from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in early April — recently it was delivered to the launch site and installed in the launch position. However, before that, the launch complex for the rocket had to be built, assembled, and all work carried out to ensure its readiness to complete the task. The Altair installation and technology management, which is part of the Ruselectronics holding of Rostec, was engaged in the creation, life support, and operability of the complex.

Now that everything is ready and only the rocket launch is ahead, experts are ready to talk about the work done.

During the implementation of the country's most important project for the space industry, the company's team laid more than 1 million meters of cable lines, installed about 1.5 thousand items of various equipment and apparatus, and assembled complex metal structures and systems within the specified time frame. During the comprehensive tests of the Angara-A5 launch complex, everything worked as intended.

Altair employees assembled the ground technological equipment of critical technical systems, and successfully completed the commissioning of the complex.

Before the delivery and installation of the Angara-A5 on it, the launch complex worked out all tasks with the ground liquid model Angara-NZh. The test results confirmed that all key systems for launching a heavy rocket meet the stated requirements.

In particular, this is the operation of the automatic control system for technological equipment, the guaranteed power supply system, the television surveillance system, and the automatic control system for the preparation and launch of the launch vehicle.
