RT-Invest has sent 70,000 tons of broken glass for recycling in two years. 437.5 million Christmas tree decorations or 2.5 million rolls of fiberglass can be made from it. This was reported by the press service of Rostec.
At the same time, glass can be recycled an unlimited number of times. Usually, up to 30% of secondary raw materials in the form of a mixture of glass mass are used in the production of new glass containers.

The press service of Rostec clarified that when using 1 ton of glass cullet, the manufacturer saves 1.2 tons of mineral components (quartz sand, calcium oxide, potash soda). RT-Invest has set an ambitious goal to reach zero waste disposal in order to improve the country's ecology.
