The Kovrov Electromechanical Plant, which is part of the «High-Precision Complexes» holding of «Rostec», reported an increase in the production of high-precision CNC machines at its facilities. At the same time, machine tool builders implement technological processes on their own equipment, which the company developed, designed and manufactured for its own needs.
Production rates have been growing since 2023. Then KEMZ doubled the production of machine tools compared to 2022, earning 450 million rubles. The plans for this year are to increase production again by almost two times and produce machines worth up to 800 million rubles.
The line of serially produced high-precision CNC machines includes:
- vertical milling center KVS V4 and its modification V4M5 with the possibility of five-coordinate processing;
- turning and milling centers KTS 4000;
- five-axis portal centers KVS PT-5 for working with large parts with the possibility of simultaneous processing of workpieces in five axes.
The main consumers of machine tool products of the Kovrov Electromechanical Plant are large mechanical processing enterprises in various sectors of the economy. KEMZ machining centers also operate on the lines of the native plant.
