In March, the Russian company GS Group will invest 182 million rubles in the modernization of the "CTS" plant (Kaliningrad Region), which produces server and motherboards. The production line speed is expected to increase by 30%.
In the summer, the company will receive optical inspection devices with artificial intelligence (AI). The equipment will check the quality of SMT-mounting when applying solder paste, installation and mounting of components after soldering. The time for preparing boards will be reduced from 24 hours to 30 minutes.
The use of AI in the manufacture of boards is a completely new experience for Russia
Improving Product Quality
The management of GS Group expects that thanks to the modernization of production, including soldering of boards in a nitrogen environment, the percentage of defects will be minimal.
The production of motherboards at the "CTS" facilities in the Kaliningrad region was established in 2018. During this time, the company has developed more than 15 different types of boards for domestic computer manufacturers.
