The Moscow-based company "SAGA Technologies" has launched an ATM assembly line with a production volume of more than 300 units per month. This was announced by the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
In 2022, "SAGA Technologies" received a patent for an ATM with cash recycling. The device was included in the register of Russian equipment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In 2023, the ATM was certified by the Central Bank.
The company has been producing ATMs, deposit machines, payment terminals, and ticket machines since 2006. The nomenclature of "SAGA Technologies" includes over 700 models of devices.
In 2022, against the backdrop of sanctions, ATM manufacturers Diebold Nixdorf and NCR left Russia. The authorities set the task of import substitution of equipment. As of July 1, 2023, there were almost 150,000 ATMs in Russia.
