VisionLabs разработала решение для распознавания новообразований на почках

The company intends to earn about 50 million rubles from this product

VisionLabs has presented a computer vision solution for recognizing malignant kidney tumors in computed tomography (CT) scans. The project took about a year to implement.

VisionLabs believes that medical centers, clinics, and laboratories will become buyers of this product. The software is already available at the Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine under the Moscow Department of Health. The press service added that several pilot projects have also been launched.

The company expects to earn about 50 million rubles from this technology. However, experts believe that the profit from the introduction of such products is quite difficult to calculate. In addition, there is no accurate data on the size of the AI solutions market in healthcare.

In 2023, the volume of public procurement of medical devices with AI technologies amounted to 500 million rubles. Taking into account individual implementations in private organizations, the market in Russia is estimated at 1 billion rubles.

Earlier, Sechenov University presented AR glasses, with which surgeons can receive advice from more experienced colleagues in real time.
