Military police units of the Central Military District (TsVO), located in the Samara region, received powerful armored vehicles "Tigr-M" and "Patrol".
"Tigr-M" can be used for reconnaissance and patrolling, fire support. The armored car is very safe due to the fifth class of ballistic protection in the frontal projection and the third - on the sides and on the stern.
Equipment and characteristics of the "Tigr-M" armored car:
- Special communication system
- Rotating turret for "Kord", "Pecheneg" machine guns or AGS-17 "Plamya" grenade launcher
- Weight - 6.5 tons
- Range - 1000 km
"Patrol" was created on the basis of KAMAZ-43502 with an armored body, designed for a crew of 9 military personnel. It provides protection against bullets fired from small arms, and also withstands the detonation of explosive devices under the wheels and the bottom. The engine power of "Patrol" is 260 hp. The range is similar to "Tigr-M".
It is expected that both armored vehicles will increase the mobility and efficiency of the military police in performing tasks.
Earlier, "Remdiesel" showed the "Phoenix" armored car at an exhibition in Saudi Arabia.
