Engineers at the Russian Special Technology Center (STC) significantly increased the production of Orlan-10 and Orlan-30 multifunctional drones in 2023 compared to previous years, according to the company's general designer, Roman Ivanov.

According to him, the production of Orlan-10 UAVs increased by 3-4 times, and Orlan-30 UAVs by 25 times, compared to the level of 2021. The management of STC plans to expand the line with new models.
Ivanov explained that due to secrecy, he cannot disclose the technical specifications. However, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the customer have a vision of what kind of equipment is needed. This includes aircraft-type drones and quadcopters.
Currently, STC is busy increasing the volume of serial assembly. The company produces a large amount of equipment and monitors its quality, the designer summarized.
It was previously reported that Orlan series drones have been equipped with AI technologies that help recognize enemy equipment.
