According to the press service of the "Kalashnikov" concern, the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (IMZ) increased the production of combat pistols by 5 times and the production of special-purpose products (components for missiles) by 2 times in 2023, which is a record figure for the enterprise.
IMZ supplied Russian law enforcement agencies with more than 10,000 compact Lebedev pistols, and also launched serial production of the Lebedev modular pistol and the 6P72 "Boa" pistol. Both products are undergoing qualification tests.
It is also reported that the production of Yarygin pistols has doubled. At the same time, the company has increased the production of MR-27 and MR-43 hunting rifles, MR-512 and MR-654 pneumatic products.
The Izhevsk plant increased the production of mechanical part kits for the S-13 air-to-surface missile. State contracts for 2023 in this area were completed on time.
The growth in production volumes affected the level of wages of the company's employees. On average, it increased by 23% last year compared to 2022.
