KamAZ is slowly moving towards its goal of earning almost a trillion rubles by 2030 in profit under RAS. The path to a profit of 806 billion rubles for 2030 under the new program of strategic development of the concern began with a leap in 2023.
KamAZ also noted the growth of other indicators during this period. Thus, revenue increased by 25% to 166.8 billion rubles. EBITDA for the reporting period increased by 35% more - to 20.9 billion rubles.
In addition, gross profit during this time increased from 21.9 billion to 31.9 billion rubles, and operating profit - from 11.9 billion to 16.9 billion rubles.
KamAZ will announce the results of the second half of the year later. The automaker has already launched workshops after the New Year holidays, and the first cars are being assembled. This is what the final assembly and roll-off of the almost completely import-substituted K5 looks like, for example.
Production volumes will grow. Only for the fully import-substituted K5, the first units of which in domestic configuration will be fully assembled this year, they will triple. Five thousand partially import-substituted K5s were assembled in 2023, and fifteen thousand K5s will be assembled this year.
In 2024, KamAZ also plans to produce sanction-resistant vehicles for commercial cargo transportation, agriculture, housing and communal services, the construction sector, the oil and gas industry and other sectors of the Russian economy. Dozens of KAMAZ-6282 electric buses will also be produced - both with daytime and, most likely, with night charging versions.
The company will continue to focus on the development of promising types of power plants – hybrid, electric, hydrogen. And it will remain true to the course of autonomization and robotization of its products, new telematics and intelligent security and control platforms for them.
