The Kalashnikov concern significantly increased the production of its industrial products in 2023.
The machine tool division of JSC "Concern "Kalashnikov" produced 126 units of industrial products, including 48 250ITVM machines, which is 65% more than in 2022. 27 high-precision spindles were manufactured for large enterprises in Russia. Previously, these products were purchased in Italy. For the first time, contracts were concluded and successfully completed for the manufacture of ball screw pairs and laser cladding on the IZH H600 hybrid machining center.
The concern's tool production division also gained momentum in 2023. It reached record levels: the total output of products increased by 28% compared to 2022, and the workload per worker in the division increased by 26%. This division, in particular, ensured the release of the new Chukavin sniper rifle and the improved AK-12 assault rifle of the 2023 model. It also "manufactured and shipped products under a license agreement".
In 2023, the concern increased the production of special equipment by 45% and coped with the increased eightfold increase in state defense orders for its sniper rifles.
The concern's enterprises were also engaged in other areas - from drones to shipbuilding. One of the interesting projects in 2023 for the concern was a multipurpose icebreaking tug for St. Petersburg. "Narvskaya Zastava" will be able to fight ice in coastal marine areas and inland waterways of the Neva and extinguish fires.
