Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) has successfully completed the 2023 contract for the supply of T-90M "Proryv" and T-72B3M tanks to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The concern's enterprises have begun fulfilling the state order for 2024, the UVZ press service reported.
It is noted that the tanks sent to the Russian military are significantly different from those that went to the Russian Armed Forces last year. Specialists from UVZ and the Ural Design Bureau have modernized combat vehicles taking into account combat experience. The operational characteristics of the T-90M "Proryv" and T-72B3M have been improved, as well as the protection of the crew.
