The outgoing year was marked by the recognition of Russia's reaching the maximum output of weapons and military equipment in almost eighty years: new advanced developments appear and are tested almost every month. They are being introduced not only into the purview of the Ministry of Defense, but can also be used for civilian purposes. Advanced weapons are exhibited at the Ministry of Defense - President Vladimir Putin recently inspected them personally.
A lot of space in the departmental exposition was devoted to work in the air. For example, the Lancet drone, which flies at speeds up to 300 km/h with different types of ammunition at a distance of up to 50 km from the launch site and conducts reconnaissance of potential targets.
This UAV can also be on the battlefield as a kamikaze. Then it dives on a specific target and explodes with it, hitting enemy manpower, light equipment and even tanks.
The Kornet ATGM from the stands is designed to destroy modern and advanced tanks with dynamic protection, pillboxes and bunkers, mortars, manpower and even hovering enemy helicopters.
Reconnaissance drones "Orlan-10" and "Orlan-30" - air reconnaissance equipment - were also honored with a place in the defense department.
The "Bereh" combat system, which, together with the Volnorez EW station, is used to counter enemy drones and other targets, including engaging the enemy from the sea, was also presented at this stand.
The Groza-04 complex for radio suppression of control channels of reconnaissance drones and other UAVs, satellite communication stations, interceptor drones, a drone repeater and a drone for suppressing GPS signals and control channels between the operator and UAVs of Russian production found their place in the demonstration of the achievements of the defense industry. The mobile mortar complex "Kargo" for reconnaissance groups of air assault units was also noted at the stands of the Airborne Forces section.
The President also saw robotic platforms engaged in the delivery of explosives of various capacities, and advanced weapons samples at the stand of the Strategic Missile Forces.
At the stand of the Navy, Vladimir Putin was shown models of missile carriers, nuclear submarines, tankers, and an assault landing boat for performing patrol and anti-sabotage tasks. They also showed a model of the captain's bridge made entirely on a 3D printer: it is faster to train specialists on it.
Of the interesting pieces of equipment at this stand, the new Zephyr universal marine robotic complex with elements of artificial intelligence was noted. According to the developers from Si Project, the drone is an excellent platform for creating robotic complexes for various purposes. It can be modified to meet customer requirements. According to the characteristics of "Zephyr", these can be both scientific goals and goals related to the defense needs of Russia.
The Grifon-17 reconnaissance UAV of the aircraft type was also not left without attention. "Grifon-17", like "Zephyr", was first shown at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2023".
The stand of the Ground Forces presented the main types of small arms and UAVs of Russian production for reconnaissance, delivery of ammunition and inflicting damage, and surveillance equipment. But not all the equipment there turned out to be Russian: the AODES Desertcross 1000-3 all-terrain vehicle comes from China, it is produced by Shandong Odes Industry. Its family serves in the Southern Military District.
At the stand of the Aerospace Forces, the head of state was shown the main means of air attack of various classes, aircraft.
Various sniper rifles of Russian production and cartridges developed specifically for paratroopers, samples of field uniforms and personal protective equipment were not forgotten.
