The Russian Ministry of Defense demonstrated the operation of the upgraded anti-tank missile system 'Kornet'. Its technical characteristics have significantly improved, and the operation itself has become safer.
'Kornet' is designed to destroy modern and prospective tanks with dynamic protection, pillboxes and bunkers, mortars, personnel, and even hovering enemy helicopters. Its thermobaric missiles hit targets at a range of up to ten kilometers.
However, the already serious ATGM 'Kornet' was upgraded for faster combat mission execution.
'Kornet' was equipped with a camera, electronic launch, thermal imaging. The control units themselves have also changed so that the operator can work remotely, in shelter.
The controls are simple: joystick, trigger button.
ATGM 'Kornet' operates in any weather, in snow, fog, and heat.
