The Russian Ministry of Defense has shown the operation of the modernized Kornet anti-tank missile system. Its technical characteristics have significantly increased, and the operator's work itself has become safer.
The Kornet is designed to destroy modern and advanced tanks with dynamic protection, pillboxes and bunkers, mortars, manpower, and even hovering enemy helicopters. Its thermobaric missiles can hit targets at a distance of up to ten kilometers.
However, the already serious Kornet ATGM was modernized for faster completion of combat missions.
The Kornet received a camera, electronic launch, and thermal imager. The controls themselves have also changed, so the operator can work remotely, in cover.
The controls are simple: a joystick, a trigger button.
The Kornet ATGM works in any weather, in snow, fog, and heat.
