Russia will increase the production of weaponry and military vehicles, despite already being at an unprecedented level for nearly eighty years. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev.
According to him, Russia will continue to "ramp up" the defense industrial complex.
The capabilities of our defense industrial complex have reached an unprecedented level since the end of the Great Patriotic War. It has to be acknowledged, even faster than I expected. The growth in the production of weaponry, military and special vehicles, means of impact - is multiple.
The day before, Medvedev visited the Alabino training ground near Moscow and met with servicemen of the 337th paratroop assault regiment of the 104th Guards paratroop assault division. There he answered the military's questions and shared brief development plans for the defense industry on a state level.
