Vnukovo Airport in Moscow plans to purchase Chinese-made drone detection and suppression equipment. This is confirmed by tender materials on the public procurement website.
According to these data, it is planned to purchase 5 units of anti-drone equipment. The total contract amount is about 29.7 million rubles or 2.3 million yuan.
It is noted that the equipment for the air harbor will be supplied by the company "Engineering and Aviation Service Center" (Moscow). The company's website indicates that it supplies spare parts, components and assemblies to the aviation market in Russia and the CIS countries, and also provides material and technical support for the operation of Russian and foreign aircraft.
Earlier, Rosaviatsiya reported that 31 airports in the country will receive drone detection and countermeasure equipment. At the same time, the agency did not specify the country of origin and brand of the systems to be purchased.
