A Soyuz-2.1b rocket with a non-standard cargo was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region. It sent a Russian military-purpose spacecraft into its calculated orbit.
The spacecraft has already been put into its target orbit and taken over by ground-based facilities of the Aerospace Forces space forces. A stable telemetry connection has already been established and is being maintained with it.
Prior to that, at the end of October, a similar launch of the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket took place from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. However, at that time, the Ministry of Defense informed that the launch was "in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense", but did not say what cargo the rocket was putting into orbit.
