KamAZ has unveiled a new Russian "heart" for the updated KAMAZ-54901 tractor from the K5 family.
According to the automaker, the engine with 460 horsepower and a torque of 2000 Nm fully complies with the Euro-5 environmental class.
It is unified in all major components and assemblies with the KAMAZ R6 910 diesel engine, which has already proven itself in operation.
The lifespan of the new R6 gas engine is 1 million km. In terms of fuel economy and service interval, it "is on par with the best global counterparts".
