The head of the Moscow Department of Transport Maxim Liksutov reported that the replenishment activation function of the 'Troika' card will also be available at the turnstiles of the subway and MCC (Moscow Central Ring) in the near future. It is currently being tested by passengers. 

According to Liksutov, more than 30 thousand successful activation replenishments have been made on 1100 turnstiles of the capital's subway and MCC. It is specified that passengers will be able to replenish the card balances online and then activate it via the turnstile. Thus, passengers will not have to line up at yellow terminals. A similar feature will appear in validators of surface transport.

The press service of the Moscow Department of Transport announced that a record was set in 2023 within the development of urban rail transport. Fourteen new metro stations have been commissioned, traffic has been launched on the BCL (Big Ring Line). Also, traffic has started on the MCD-3 (Moscow Central Diameter) and MCD-4.

It was previously reported that in the capital's subway, a function for paying fares by biometric data was being tested. It is known that this payment method will save money for passengers.
