В России будут производить беспилотники и комплектующие под брендами «Рубин» и «Эмпаэро»

A subsidiary of the T1 holding will establish the production of drones with a carrying capacity of up to 30 kg

The Russian IT holding T1, which specializes in software development and robotics, plans to develop the production of drones and components. As part of this work, T1's structure, TS-Fintech, registered the brands "Rubin" and "Empero" with Rospatent.

The product classes suggest that both unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and engines and related equipment can be produced under these brands.

The company "Laboratory of the Future" said that T1 is likely to produce drones with a carrying capacity of at least 30 kg. Drone production may be established in the north of Russia. It is possible that we are talking about aircraft-type drones or vertical take-off vehicles.

Experts believe that the employees of the T1 holding have the necessary competencies to enter the full production cycle, using only Russian solutions and components. However, import-substituted drones may cost more than Chinese ones.

It is known that in June 2023, at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, the T1 holding signed a cooperation agreement with the State Transport Leasing Company. Then the production and testing of drones in the NAO, the creation in the Arctic of a company that would provide cargo delivery using UAVs, was discussed.

In early November, it became known that "Russian Post" has frozen the project, which provides for the delivery of goods by drones in remote areas.
