The Moscow Traffic Management Center (TsODD) has announced a tender for the creation of the «PROEvent» video surveillance system. Thanks to the neural network, it will detect incidents and emergency situations on the streets and roads of the metropolis.
It is assumed that «PROEvent» will be used for situations mainly not related to traffic violations. These are:
- intrusion of a vehicle into a prohibited area;
- intrusion of a pedestrian into a prohibited area;
- registration of a cluster of vehicles moving at an average speed significantly lower than the normal speed for this section;
- movement of a single vehicle at a speed significantly lower than the speed of the main flow.
The system will also send a separate signal in the event of a fire or detection of suspicious objects on the roadway. Signals will be transmitted to emergency services.
In addition, the system will allow TsODD to quickly notify motorists about problems on their way.
