Rostec has begun training Venezuelan carriers from Conviasa to use the Russian software for airlines Leonardo. Specialists from Sirena-Travel, which created Leonardo together with the state corporation, are also taking part in the training.
According to Rostec's press service, the implementation of the Russian system in Venezuela is scheduled for early 2024.
The advantage of our solution is that it provides a high level of security for passengers' personal data and is resistant to cyberattacks and hacks. Leonardo will allow the airline to improve flight safety and eliminate the threat of being disconnected from booking systems by unfriendly states.
More than 60 airlines in Russia have started working with Leonardo after the departure of the Swiss IT giant SITA from the Russian market in the summer of 2023. It is not a monopolist for Russia: there is also an ORS solution, which S7 Airlines works with.
Abroad, the Russian software "Leonardo" is used in Belarusian, Armenian and Kyrgyz airlines.
