The National Technology Initiative (NTI) platform has announced a new drone created in Russia. The drone is designed to deliver first aid kits to victims in forests, mountains and other hard-to-reach places.
Alternative methods of searching for and providing first medical aid to a victim [in hard-to-reach regions] take an average of five hours to three days, and their cost varies from 7 to 80 thousand rubles per hour. Thanks to the use of our drones, the cost of this operation will be 1.5 thousand rubles per hour, and the average time [for delivering a medical aid kit] will be reduced to 40 minutes. This will help to significantly increase the survival rate of the victim and reduce the risk of complications.
The creators say that the drone can withstand a temperature range from -40 to +40 degrees Celsius and can carry a first aid kit weighing up to 30 kg. In the future, it is planned to switch to composite materials, which will expand the temperature range by 20 degrees Celsius in both directions.
The drone has already been tested at the "Novinki" airfield in the Moscow region.
