New warehouse accounting systems are being developed in Russia - drones are being connected to them. The company "NTR Tomsk" has successfully conducted an experiment with a drone to automate work in the warehouse.
It is noted that the tests were carried out indoors at a temperature of -20ºC. The drone recounted the goods in autonomous mode without the support of a pilot. For this, the specialists of "NTR Tomsk" introduced internal navigation system technology into the aircraft.
The development of such a drone has been going on for more than 8 years. It is expected that the introduction of automated warehouse accounting using drones will eliminate errors during inventory.
The company "NTR Tomsk" has been developing knowledge-intensive technological solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) since the 2000s. The company has expertise in neural networks, transport systems and high-load systems [these are software systems that serve a large number of user requests -editor's note www1.ru].
