Rostelecom has temporarily zeroed the cost of calls to Israel for its subscribers from home phones"taking into account the situation" in this country.
According to the press service of the telecom operator, the promotion will be valid until October 31, 2023.
No additional activation of this option is required. The cost of calls to Israel from a landline within the limit will be automatically zeroed for subscribers.
Rostelecom's decision will allow subscribers to stay in touch with family and friends, and, if necessary, receive up-to-date information from Russian diplomatic missions and air carriers.
Prior to this, other major Russian telecom operators alsodecided to help subscribers currently in the Middle East and their relatives. Tele2, Beeline, MTS and MegaFon provided zeroed tariffs or preferential roaming packages.
