Russian operator Tele2 made communication in Israel free for its subscribers

Other major Russian telecom operators have also provided roaming benefits in Israel to their subscribers

Russian mobile operator Tele2 announced that it has introduced free access to communication in roaming for all its subscribers currently in Israel. This applies to incoming and outgoing calls and mobile internet.

The company notes that the zeroing of tariffs will allow people to stay in touch with family and friends and receive up-to-date information from Russian diplomatic missions and air carriers.

The special roaming regime will come into effect at midnight from October 9th to 10th and will operate for two weeks until October 22nd, with the possibility of extension depending on developments in Israel.

Tele2 is not the only Russian telecom operator that decided to help its subscribers currently in the Middle East.

Thus, Beeline has connected a free package of services in roaming for 30 days to clients in Israel and Palestine: 3 GB of Internet, 120 minutes of calls and 120 SMS messages.

Until the end of October, MTS will make free outgoing calls to the Aeroflot hotline, as well as to the numbers of the Russian Embassy in Israel and the Israeli Embassy in Russia.

And the press service of MegaFon told RBC that the company will soon make communication free when calling emergency services and Russian embassies in the Middle East.
