After the departure of foreign car brands from the Russian market, the vacant niches will be filled by Asian companies. For example, Jetour Group intends to organize production in Russia.
This information was confirmed by Jack Chen, General Manager of Jetour Auto for international markets. According to him, the company wants to establish car assembly, as well as conduct research and development work with the participation of Russian specialists.

So far, the company is considering various options for cooperation with Russia: from buying a plant to assembling cars under contract at one of the existing enterprises.
In September, Jetour introduced the X70 Plus crossover for the Russian market. The car received a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 190 "horses", a 7-speed "robot" and front-wheel drive.
Earlier it was reported about rising prices for foreign cars in the Russian Federation. For some Jetour models, the price tag has increased by 50 thousand rubles.
