The National Research Nuclear University 'MEPhI' announced the start of cooperation with the Russian company 'AvtoVAZ'. It is planned to open a laboratory for the development of car electronics at the institute.
As explained in the university's press service, they plan to design and create multimedia systems, digital dashboards, as well as software (SW) for cars. It is noted that the laboratory employees will work according to international standards, taking into account the best practices for ensuring the quality of the SW.
According to Sergei Amanov, the chief designer of the company, cooperation with leading domestic scientific organizations is an important factor for ensuring Russia's technological sovereignty. In addition, it will help to accelerate the development of technologies and their implementation in production, he believes.
