National Research Nuclear University MEPhI has announced the start of cooperation with the Russian concern AvtoVAZ. It is planned to open a laboratory for the development of automotive electronics at the institute.
According to the university's press service, they plan to design and create multimedia systems, digital instrument panels, and develop software for cars. It is noted that the laboratory staff will work according to international standards, taking into account best practices in software quality assurance.
According to Sergey Amanov, chief designer of the concern, cooperation with leading domestic scientific organizations is an important factor in ensuring Russia's technological sovereignty. In addition, this will help accelerate the development of technologies and their implementation in production, he believes.
