In the USA, Europe and China, various companies are working hard on their versions of air taxis, however, such machines are also being developed in Russia. The Telegram channel "MashTech" published images of a flying car prototype from one of Moscow's startups.

The device is a universal flying cargo platform "T.O.R.". As this is just a prototype, the parameters are not impressive: 10 minutes of flight with a payload of 85 kg (that is, with one person).

But the construction is very light: with a length of 2.5 m, the weight (including the traction battery!) is only 115 kg. These characteristics correspond to the category "ultra-light aircraft".

"T.O.R." can be controlled by a person or by autopilot. In the latter case, the system not only allows the "flying car" to follow the route, but also safely lands it in case of failure of two engine groups. An automatic parachute rescue system is also provided just in case.
