MB Rus, the former Russian office of Mercedes-Benz, has announced the sale of Chinese premium SUVs Aito and Li Auto in Russia. The new products will appear in MB Rus showrooms at the end of September.
Aito cars (a joint brand of Huawei and Seres) will be represented by two models - M5 and M7. And they are both already available for order.
Aito M5 in China has two power options - 272 and 496 hp (respectively, with one electric motor or two). Aito M5 will be offered in Luxury and Flagship trim levels, the price is 6.85 million rubles. Aito M7 will be available in Luxury and Flagship versions, the price is 7.4 million rubles. The power of Aito M7 in China is 272 or 449 hp.
As for Li Auto, Russians will be offered the Li Auto Li 7 crossover in three versions (Max, Pro and Air), Li 8 in Max and Pro versions and Li 9 in Max version. Their cost has not yet been announced.
MB Rus does not refuse to sell Mercedes-Benz cars, but in the current environment, the company decided to expand its product portfolio with other premium brands. Also, MB Rus previously became the exclusive distributor of Chinese commercial vehicles Forland in Russia.
