SITA company, one of the largest providers of IT services in the aviation industry, announced its departure from Russia from June 1. SITA is the creator of a large number of different software services in the industry - ticket reservation systems, electronic boarding and baggage systems, etc. However, SITA's departure from Russia should not affect the industry, so Rostec believes.
«SITA's departure is a tribute to Russophobic fashion and a sign of desperation. This does not affect the market, as Russian carriers have long been using domestic solutions»,- said a representative of Rostec. He added that more than 60 airlines are using the domestic ticket reservation system 'Leonardo', which has already helped transport over 44 million passengers.
«At the same time, we have other products in our portfolio, including for airport infrastructure. We are ready to implement them, replacing the vendors who are leaving»,- added in Rostec.
