Minister of Industry and Trade of the Khabarovsk Territory Evgeny Romanov revealed the date of the first flight of the domestic import-substituted aircraft Sukhoi Superjet New.
"In the current situation, the production center of the Irkut corporation in Komsomolsk-on-Amur has intensified work on the Sukhoi Superjet New project. The first flight of the new aircraft is scheduled for June 21", - said Romanov.
He added that overall indicators of the aviation industry in the region have decreased: "The main reason is the adjustment of the regional aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100 program, from 19 units in 2023, we can only release six units due to refusal in supply of imported equipment".
