«In the current situation, the production center of the "Irkut" corporation in Komsomolsk-on-Amur has intensified work on the Sukhoi Superjet New project. The first flight of the new aircraft is scheduled for June 21,» Romanov said.
He added that the overall performance of the aviation industry in the region has declined: «The main reason is the adjustment of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional aircraft program, from 19 units in 2023 we can only produce six units due to the refusal to supply imported equipment».
