Unmanned technologies are rapidly expanding their horizons. Drones are no longer limited to video shooting and monitoring — they are becoming an integral part of service, industrial, and urban infrastructure.
The improvement of computing power, computer vision algorithms, and autonomous navigation contributes to this development. New lightweight and accurate sensors, as well as platforms for coordinating drones, make it possible to effectively solve routine tasks, allowing data to be processed and operational decisions to be made.
One of the most promising areas for the use of drones is the delivery of small cargo, especially in remote areas. In some countries, drones are already transporting donor organs and vital medicines, reducing delivery times and affecting patient survival.
However, the use of drones is not limited to medical logistics. In the HoReCa sector, unmanned couriers serve guests in open areas, hotels, and mass events. They are able to move autonomously among people, avoiding collisions and performing service tasks.
An example is the Wheelies drone waiter with Wheelies software, with an onboard computing module and Wheelies software. The device is based on the Darwin FPV platform with 3.5-inch propellers.
The operator can select a table or other delivery point via the interface. The drone independently calculates the route, analyzing the data stream from the camera and sensors, tracks the situation, avoids obstacles, and dynamically adjusts the trajectory.
The development of humanoid robots is also not being ignored. Wheelies has developed a system that combines a computing module, sensors, and voice interaction. The development allows coordinating humanoid robots and teaches them new movements.
The use of voice interfaces and neural network algorithms makes human-robot interaction natural. At the same time, the developed local Fish-Speech model provides offline speech recognition, and the more advanced Qwen 3 (a joint project with AInergy) is used for complex dialogues.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the GAMMA platform for automating engineering calculations was presented at the ITPARK FEST 2025 festival.
