Open and closed firing positions allow hitting targets with guided missiles at a distance of up to 9,000 m, noted military expert Alexander Khrolenko.

According to him, the "Proryv" is not inferior to self-propelled artillery units in accuracy, but thanks to its powerful diesel engine, it wins in maneuverability.
A thermal imager and commander's panoramic cameras provide soldiers with instant target detection, and an automated fire control system allows for quick response to threats.
