Kalashnikov Concern is extending its unified tool management service to several enterprises within the holding. The system is designed to provide centralized management of production tools and technological equipment, reduce excess inventory, and decrease the number of urgent supply requests. The project, launched in 2024 at the concern's Izhevsk enterprise, is now being implemented at the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant and the Mayak plant in Kirov.

The Unified Tool Management Service (ESIK) integrates the processes of planning tool requirements, accounting for its turnover, and generating orders for production. The system allows for regular calculation of the necessary amount of equipment, analysis of requests, and adjustment of needs. Orders are formed taking into account shift-daily production tasks to ensure timely delivery of tools to work areas.
According to Anzhelika Khudoleeva, Deputy General Director for Operations at the concern, after the implementation of ESIK at the holding's main enterprise, it was decided to extend the system to other sites. Currently, the project is being rolled out at IMZ and Mayak, and preparations for implementation at LOMO are nearing completion. The Mytishchi Machine-Building Plant has been named as the next enterprise in the expansion plan.
In the future, the concern intends to cover all business processes related to providing production with tools and equipment with a unified system. Among the directions for further development are the application of artificial intelligence and a digital assistant. This should expand the capabilities of centralized planning and management of the holding's enterprises' tool management.
