Penzadieselmash sent the fourth batch of TK45 turbochargers to Kolomensky Zavod. The shipment was announced by the press service of the Penza enterprise, which is part of TMH-Energeticheskie Resheniya. The number of units in the batch and delivery times were not disclosed in the message.

TK45 are designed for D500 family diesel engines with a power output of up to 7.3 MW. These power units are used in shipbuilding and nuclear power plants. The turbocharger provides engine supercharging, supplying pressurized air to the cylinders and allowing for more efficient fuel use.
The TK45 line was previously tested at maximum load conditions and increased rotational speed. In May 2026, the company announced that it had received a type approval certificate from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The development is positioned as a replacement for foreign units, including previously purchased Swiss products.
The fourth shipment confirms the continuation of TK45 deliveries to the customer. However, the manufacturer did not specify the production volume or provide data to assess the pace of deliveries or the share of Russian turbochargers in Kolomensky Zavod's needs.
