Penzadizelmash has successfully established serial production of seven turbocharger modifications at once. The units are distinguished by a high degree of unification of assemblies and parts, increased reliability, and a significant service life.
The turbocharger line at the enterprise is developing actively: modern high-tech equipment is being introduced, and new models are being mastered that meet current market requirements and provide competitive advantages.
In 2026, the launch into serial production of radial-type turbochargers is planned. According to plant representatives, the key advantages of these models will be exceptional reliability, convenience and cost-effectiveness of repair, optimal weight and size characteristics, as well as increased efficiency.
The project is part of a large-scale technical re-equipment and production modernization program aimed at creating capacity for the output of up to 1,500 turbochargers per year and strengthening the enterprise's position in the segment of components for diesel engines, including for railway equipment.
JSC "Penzadizelmash" is one of Russia's leading diesel engineering enterprises and is part of Transmashholding. The plant specializes in the production of diesel engines and diesel generator sets, primarily the D50 family and its modifications, which are widely used on mainline, shunting, and industrial diesel locomotives, as well as at power plants, on sea and river vessels, and on traction units in the mining industry.
