Enterprises included in the United Shipbuilding Corporation (JSC "USC") develop and build most of Russia's warships. This is stated in the materials for the working meeting of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin with the corporation's CEO Andrey Puchkov.

Practically all warships developed and built for the Russian Navy and for export are the result of the work of the design bureaus and shipyards of the USC group.

Currently, USC accounts for about 80% of Russia's shipbuilding industry and up to 95% of both the state defense order and foreign contracts in the field of military-technical cooperation (MTC).

On USC's financial performance

Andrey Puchkov stated at the meeting with Mishustin that by the end of 2025, USC's revenue increased by 14%, to 525 billion rubles. He called this indicator "not bad".

This result was achieved, among other things, due to government financial programs and with the support of relevant ministries, VTB, emphasized the CEO of USC. The past year also became a record for the implementation of the production program.

Serial production

Puchkov, in a conversation with the Prime Minister, touched upon the topic of developing large-scale serial shipbuilding. According to him, many customers need uniform serial vessels. That is why the corporation has prepared a unified solution — "Platform No. 1".

The first class of "river-sea" vessels is already actively developing.

The USC press service informed "Pervy Tekhnichesky" that one of the corporation's priorities is import substitution of ship equipment and propulsion systems, and the development of marine instrumentation. Work is currently underway on a project for the production of azimuth thrusters for vessels built on the basis of "Platform No. 1".

In addition, in 2028, USC shipbuilders will switch to the Russian shipbuilding computer-aided design (CAD) system, the press service added. Already today, 3D modeling is used in the construction of serial vessels, and in design bureaus and factory technological preparation services, data and drawings are uploaded to a single information environment. This facilitates the transfer of information for building digital models, USC concluded.
