Wildberries will launch its own digital procurement platform (DPP) for educational organizations in test mode. This was announced by Evgeny Etin, Director of the Department for Innovation and RWB Ecosystem Development.

The platform will allow kindergartens, schools, and colleges to conduct public procurement using the marketplace's logistics infrastructure. The maximum amount for a single procurement will be 5 million rubles.
The operational mechanics will be as close as possible to the familiar marketplace shopping scenario. The seller pre-places an offer indicating the cost, quantity, terms, and conditions of delivery. When a customer needs a product, they post a notification, after which the platform selects suitable offers.
The creation of the platform is dictated by the instruction of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Eastern Economic Forum in 2026. It is being implemented as part of the experiment under Law No. 278-FZ, which came into force on October 1, 2026. According to the document, marketplaces from the register of digital platform operators will be entitled to conduct 'off-the-shelf' procurements for educational organizations.
What's on the platform
At the first stage, the DPP will be available to sellers from the test group. In the future, the company plans to open the platform to all interested parties who meet public procurement requirements. To work, a seller will need to register in the Unified Register of Procurement Participants in the UIS.
The platform will feature an assortment recommended by the Ministry of Education: stationery and household goods, equipment, and machinery.
In 2025, RWB and the Prosveshchenie group of companies already created a joint project for school procurement. The pilot launch took place in Ryazan Oblast, where several educational institutions made test purchases.
