Law enforcement agencies have initiated a fourth criminal case against the owners of the Rostov Tenth Bearing Plant. The total damage across all enterprises involved is approximately 6.5 billion rubles, RIA Novosti reported, citing law enforcement officials in the region.

The case was initiated under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against Alexey Kuleshov, Lyudmila Kuleshova, and Roman Volkov — owners of OOO GPZ 2 Tver, OAO OK-Loza, and Rostov OOO 10 GPZ. According to the investigation, since November 2020, the production of bearings for the Tver plant took place at a site in Sergiev Posad.
According to investigators, the actual owners gave instructions to include false data on inflated production costs for state defense orders in the settlement materials. The damage from this episode alone exceeded 4 billion rubles.
The first two cases concerned 10 GPZ and are currently being heard in the garrison court of Rostov-on-Don, while the third is related to OK-Loza. Earlier, the appeal upheld the court's decision on the Prosecutor General's Office's lawsuit to seize assets worth almost 200 billion rubles from the owners. According to the FSB, products were purchased at prices inflated by 3-8 times, and damage was caused to the state and 16 industrial enterprises.
