The International Robot Battle Championship in 2026 will for the first time bring together all four qualifying stages in Moscow. The battles will take place on October 6, 7, 9, and 10 as part of the Digital Solutions forum. A total of 144 teams from Russia and other countries will compete for a spot in the semi-finals.

The geography of participants will expand. For the first time, engineers from the USA, Chile, Ecuador, and Saudi Arabia will present their developments. In the heavy category up to 110 kg, 64 teams are registered, including 11 foreign ones, and in the mini-robot category up to 1.5 kg, there are another 80 participants, among whom are eight foreign teams.

A special feature of the championship will be 11 robots with artificial intelligence elements. Machines with unusual weaponry will also appear in the arena: a hammer, a pickaxe, and a flipper — a mechanism capable of tossing an opponent. At the same time, the most common weapon among participants remains the vertical spinner.

Opponents will be determined in two draws. The first will take place on October 5 and will distribute participants for the duels on October 6 and 7. The second will be held on October 8 — before the final qualifying days on October 9 and 10. Winners will continue to compete in the semi-finals.

The duels will take place at the MosKino Film Factory venue. The championship can also be followed via broadcasts on VK Video and at the Digital Solutions forum in the Russia National Center. Full team lists and participant distribution by day have already been published on Gosuslugi.
