A Moscow team of engineers from the "Guramny" team has created a robot named "Mad Cheese". The device was created to participate in the third season of the "Battle of Robots" championship.
As the main active element, the robot uses a rotating drum-type spinner. It resembles a cheese head and inflicts damage on the opponent in battle.
The robot's body and armor also resemble slices of cheese. These structural elements are made of aluminum alloy for reliable protection during a fight.
"Battle of Robots" is an international championship in which robots fight in exciting duels. The machines are controlled by development teams consisting of experienced engineers and young specialists from different countries. In Russia, the event has been held annually since 2023.
Applications for participation in the third season of the "Battle of Robots" competition are accepted on the Gosuslugi website until May 15 inclusive. The total prize fund is 6.6 million rubles. Applications for participation are accepted in two categories. In the battle of mini-robots weighing up to one and a half kilograms, robotics engineers under the age of 17 can take part.
