Rosatom fully fulfills its obligations under the state defense order and strengthens cooperation with other countries. This was stated by the corporation's CEO, Alexey Likhachev, in his congratulatory message on the occasion of Nuclear Industry Worker's Day.

The state corporation is expanding its portfolio of foreign orders "despite unprecedented pressure". And more and more countries trust Russian specialists to implement long-term energy projects, Likhachev emphasized.
Among the major foreign projects are the construction of a unique integrated NPP in Uzbekistan, and the Balkhash NPP project in Kazakhstan. Construction continues in Bangladesh, India, China, Hungary, and Egypt. In addition, Rosatom is approaching the physical launch of Unit No. 1 of the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey, he added.
We are aiming for another record in cargo transportation volumes along the Northern Sea Route, expecting to exceed 40 million tons.
Rosatom is updating its icebreaker fleet. In 2026, the nuclear icebreaker "Leningrad" (Project 22220), which is being built for FSUE Atomflot (part of the state corporation), will be launched at the Baltic Shipyard.
Likhachev emphasized that Rosatom also applies its competencies in the digital, medical, and space industries, and conducts research in the field of thermonuclear fusion. Now, the employees of the state corporation face a new challenge - to bring these and other technological sovereignty projects to an industrial level.
