Engineers from the company "Center for the Development of Hydro-Abrasive Technologies" (TsRGT, Chelyabinsk) have developed a high-pressure pump F50/4000.01 for hydro-abrasive cutting machines. The equipment was included in the Register of Russian Industrial Products. This was reported by the press service of the Industry Development Fund of the Chelyabinsk region.
The development by Chelyabinsk specialists will reduce the dependence of domestic enterprises on foreign supplies, as it can replace imported analogues, emphasized the FRP.
Characteristics of F50/4000.01:

Andrey Sumorokov, Director of the NCG Association (managing organization of TsRGT company), stated that the F50/4000.01 pump can be installed on new machines and used for modernizing equipment already in operation.
For enterprises, this means the ability to extend the service life of existing machine tools, reduce dependence on imported components, and gain guaranteed access to Russian spare parts, service, and technical support.
Hydro-abrasive cutting is a material processing technology using a super-high pressure water jet with the addition of abrasive particles, such as quartz sand, almandine, or electrocorundum. This method allows cutting almost any material without thermal impact.
