In the LNG technology segment, domestic submerged hermetic pumps have replaced Japanese equipment at "Arctic LNG 2".
Alikhanov added that Russia has mastered the production of gas compressors for Ust-Luga. Now, in this segment, Russia is independent of products from German Siemens.
It should be noted that "Arctic LNG 2" previously used pumps from the Japanese corporation Ebara. The new ENK 2000/241 units are produced at the ZiO-Podolsk plant near Moscow and are capable of pumping 2000 cubic meters of liquefied gas per hour.
Heavy machinery is responsible for the rapid offloading of LNG from tanks into gas tankers.
