MTS presented a new version of the Fog Play media set-top box with a built-in AI assistant. The device connects via HDMI to a TV, monitor, or projector and combines cloud games, TV, and digital services in one interface.

The set-top box can be controlled by voice via the remote. The assistant can launch applications, switch TV channels, search for content, and answer questions. For more complex queries, language models are used, and in a separate chat, the user can choose between several neural networks, including foreign ones, and also customize their response style.
After authorization via MTS ID, applications from RuStore, MTS services, the Kion online cinema, and Kion Music become available. The search works immediately for installed applications, and third-party programs can be downloaded via APK files.
The main feature of Fog Play has been preserved — cloud gaming. The game itself runs on a powerful remote computer, and the video stream is transmitted to the user's screen, so a separate gaming PC or console next to the TV is not needed. Gamepads, headphones, speakers, and other Bluetooth devices can be connected to the set-top box.
A prototype of the new Fog Play was first shown at the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg. MTS has not yet disclosed when the set-top box will go on sale and how much it will cost.
