The TsTS factory has completed the assembly of the first batch of boards for the domestic G-Box S TV set-top box. The batch volume was 8 thousand units. The customer was Imaklik, a Russian developer and manufacturer of telecommunications equipment.
The boards underwent a full production cycle: surface and through-hole mounting, as well as testing. Final assembly into the casing will be performed by the customer.
TsTS notes that G-Box S boards are technically complex, especially working with BGA microchips – the quality of their soldering is checked by X-ray control. Imaklik emphasizes that the production of boards at TsTS facilities strengthens the domestic production chain.
The G-Box S.100 line is a modern Russian solution for interactive television in IPTV and OTT networks. The devices can be equipped with different processors, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, and have different memory capacities. Integration with Linux and Android is provided. The device is undergoing the procedure for inclusion in the register of Russian industry.
