The Russian Ministry of Transport will amend the traffic regulations (PDD) to include a new parking sign for large families. This was announced on the sidelines of the International Youth Festival, which is taking place in Yekaterinburg.
The parking sign is designed as a blue square with a white letter "P", in the lower right corner of which there is an image of a family with three children. A similar symbol is placed on an additional plate.
The next step will be to introduce the necessary changes to the relevant GOST. After that, the new sign will be able to appear on the country's streets.
In July 2026, the agency conducted a survey among Russians on what the new road sign should look like. 7 options were offered for selection.
Almost 4 thousand people took part in the survey. The largest number of votes (46%) was received by option No. 1.
The sign can be seen at the exposition of the Russian Ministry of Transport at the International Youth Festival. It was also shown to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
