PAO "Yakovlev", which includes the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, has put up for sale a technically sound An-12BP cargo aircraft manufactured in 1964. The starting price of the aircraft is 294.3 million rubles. Information about the auction is posted on the "RT-Capital" platform, which manages Rostec's assets.

The documentation states that the aircraft has been in operation since 1964. The aircraft is equipped with four AI-20 turboprop engines, and its units and components comply with the design documentation.

The An-12BP is a transport modification of the Soviet An-12 aircraft. Machines of this family were used for transporting cargo and personnel, and their design allowed them to be operated at airfields with limited infrastructure.

The aircraft is currently located at Irkutsk-2 (Vostochny) airfield. Applications from potential buyers are accepted until September 23, and the auction will take place on September 25.
