The Ministry of Education has prepared recommendations for the use of artificial intelligence in schools. AI services are not intended for primary school students, said Olga Khlytina, Director of the Institute of History, Humanitarian and Social Education at NGPU.

In grades 5-9, neural networks can be used to search for information, explain complex topics, and test hypotheses. High school students are allowed to use them more broadly – for example, in processing large datasets, preparing projects, and visualizing results.
However, AI cannot be used during interim and final assessments. The teacher will also be able to restrict neural networks in assignments where it is important to independently develop creative thinking, analysis, and the ability to argue one's position.
The recommendations also offer scenarios for individual subjects. For example, in literature, AI can be used to create character portraits or voice fragments of works. All materials created by neural networks must be additionally checked by the teacher for correctness and compliance with the school curriculum.
